The weekend of July 1-3, the Lancaster Barnstormers will be temporarily renamed in honor of Lebanon County, and you can vote on what that name will be.

During the special Lebanon County-themed three-game home series against the Staten Island Ferry Hawks, Clipper Magazine Stadium will feature displays from Lebanon County businesses throughout the weekend, and the Barnstormers will take the field wearing special team uniforms bearing the temporary name.

The names up for voting are:

  • The Lebanon Chix
  • The Lebanon Ironmasters
  • The Lebanon Bologna

You can cast your vote here.

All three names hearken back to Lebanon County’s past – the bologna and ironmaster references being obvious enough, and the “Chix” referencing the College Hill Chix.

The winning name will be announced at yet-to-be-disclosed local location on Friday, April 15, with the person who suggests the winning name receiving four tickets to the Lebanon County weekend games, plus a $100 Barnstormers gift card.
