The Ebenezer Memorial Garden, a project of the Ebenezer Beautification Committee, will hold a dedication ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 21.
The garden plan has been in the works for the past few years, and has been realized through construction over the past year, bringing a small gathering spot with a central flagpole surrounded by bricks, benches, flowers, and trees to a small plot of land at Jay Street and Old Ebenezer Road in North Lebanon Township, just south of Ebenezer Lake.

Organizers recommend that attendees bring chairs, and encourage non-perishable items to be brought and donated for use in the on-site food pantry. A raffle will also be held at the event, where state Rep. Russ Diamond and others will speak as part of the dedication ceremony.
In the lead-up to the formal dedication, the committee is reopening sales of engraved bricks until May 31 or when supplies run out. To order a brick for the memorial garden, call Gwen Yordy at 717-272-4191 or find forms available at the Memorial Garden site.
Yordy said the garden has been under construction for more than a year now, and its completion is thanks to a number of contributors and volunteers, including Brad Barr Landscaping, the North Lebanon Township Board of Supervisors, the North Lebanon Township road crew, Steckbeck Engineering, KB Graphix, Lebanon County Commissioners, Ebenezer Geezers, and Collins Trucking.
