The Lower Susquehanna regional 2023 Master Watershed Steward program is open for applications.
The program, which launched in 2020, prepares environmental enthusiasts with the skillset to share their experience and knowledge with others in an impact-oriented manner.

Master Watershed Stewards must fulfill 50 hours of volunteer service after the training period, which will be conducted virtually via Zoom on Wednesday evenings starting March 8 and running through mid-June. Local in-person activities and online enrichment sessions will be offered as well.
After completing the program, Master Watershed Stewards maintain their status by volunteering and doing continuing education training.

The Lower Susquehanna regional Master Watershed Steward program is a collaborative effort between Penn State Extension, the Dauphin, Lancaster, and Lebanon county conservation districts, and other local conservation organizations.
