A future exhibit at the Lebanon County Historical Society will highlight the significant contributions of women to the county over the past 211 years.
The Women’s History Exhibit opens in October and is a collaboration between Lebanon County Historical Society and the Lebanon County Commission for Women.
The exhibit will feature women who have made major contributions to the area’s healthcare, business, and industry sectors, as well as promote reform. The exhibit will include a diverse range of artifacts. The historical society is looking for donations or loans of relevant historical materials, and anyone interested in submitting a donation can contact the society for more information.

“We’re excited to showcase the important role women have played in shaping Lebanon County’s history,” said Barb Gaffney, co-chair of the LCHS Museum Committee, in a press release. “We hope this exhibit will inspire visitors and deepen their appreciation for the impact women have had on our community.”
The Women’s History Exhibit will be open to the public free of charge from October 2024 to March 2025.
