The Lebanon County District Attorney’s Office has announced that local police will be intensifying efforts to catch impaired drivers from April 19 to April 22, as part of a nationwide campaign to reduce alcohol and drug-related traffic incidents.

During this period, several police departments across Lebanon County will conduct roving patrols specifically targeting drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The DA’s office said that the initiative is designed to reduce alcohol and drug related traffic crashes. For more information on the dangers and consequences of impaired driving, visit PennDOT’s website or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website.
