The Jigger Shop has been a Mount Gretna tradition since 1895. The restaurant and ice cream parlor was purchased by Kyle Seyfert and his family from longtime owner Chuck Allwein in May 2018.

A patron waits at the Jigger Shop ice cream counter to place an order. The Jigger Shop shares its name with a hallmark sundae and eponymous topping – a Jigger is, by definition, “French vanilla ice cream with your choice of chocolate or butterscotch, marshmallow and Jigger nuts.” (Will Trostel)
