The James Biever Police-Community Alliance (JBPCA) is joining with local police departments and the Lebanon County community for their second annual Cram-A-Cruiser food drive to benefit the Lebanon County Christian Ministries Food Pantry on Saturday, May 18.

The food drive runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Grocery Outlet (1301 Quentin Road, Lebanon).

Event organizers are asking Lebanon County residents to donate non-perishable items to help those suffering from food insecurity put food on their tables. Food insecurity is a problem that affects 14,000 people in Lebanon County – 9.8% of the county’s population – according to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank.

Last year the food drive collected 1,800 pounds of non-perishable items from the food pantry’s wish list. Items needed include rice, canned soups, pasta, canned meats, canned fruit, pasta sauce, toilet paper, and toothpaste. Click here for the complete wish list.
