Update June 26: With severe storms moving into the area, PennDOT announced that the work scheduled for tonight has been postponed. The work and associated closures will now continue Thursday and Friday night, weather permitting.
Overnight road work on the northbound interstate off-ramp at Exit 90 in Lebanon County will begin tonight and continue at least through Thursday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
The work will consist of paving, rumble strip installation, and other construction on the ramp from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., beginning Monday and continuing through Thursday, weather permitting. A detour will be in place during the construction.
The work is part of a larger project that includes ramp work, base repairs, milling and overlay, guide rail replacement, minor drainage, and other work on Fisher Avenue from Marsanna Lane to Route 72, as well as on portions of Route 72 and Lickdale Road, according to a news release from PennDOT.
The contractor for the $2,294,134 project is New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co. The full project is expected to be completed on Sept. 16.
