A Dauphin County man was seriously injured in a crash Sunday morning in South Londonderry Township.
According to a report by Fox 43 News, 19-year-old Dax Purcell of Hershey was driving a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta at around 3:21 a.m. when the car left the roadway in the 100 block of Bell Road, struck a utility pole, and caused several downed utility wires. Bell Road was closed for 13 hours until the pole could be repaired.
Purcell was taken to an area hospital for treatment of severe injuries, according to South Londonderry Township police.
The crash is under investigation, and anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact township police at (717) 838-1376.
