Lebanon County 4-H teams demonstrated their agricultural expertise at the Pennsylvania Farm Show, with two teams placing in the top ranks of the state potato judging competition.

The Lebanon County B team captured third place overall, while the A team secured sixth place in the statewide contest, which tests participants’ speed and accuracy in evaluating potatoes across three categories.

Individual competitors also stood out, with Grady Sanders placing fourth among all A team participants statewide. Kenny Moyer achieved eighth place in the B team individual rankings.

The competition, which draws teams from across Pennsylvania, challenges young agriculturists to assess potato quality using industry standards. It represents one of many youth agriculture education events featured at the annual Pennsylvania Farm Show.
