LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

The Pet of the Week sometimes features a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the column spotlights an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.

This week, meet adoptable Moe!

Moe, a 1-year-old male, is “playful, affectionate, snuggly” but, according to Pitties.Love.Peace rep Mika Stiefel, “an be timid in new situations.” Once he’s found his trusted humans, however, he’s a “total Velcro dog,” she says.

“No matter how many kisses he gives, he’ll think you need a few,” Mika adds.

Moe is friendly with other dogs, is crate-trained and housebroken, and is a strong chewer and expert toy defluffer, she says. He’s food-motivated and eager to please. His ideal household would have no children under 10 years of age, Mika adds, and he would have to be tested for cats before moving into a home with any feline presence.

The rescue group is “looking for an active family committed to ongoing training and socialization to keep him on track to being his very best,” she say.
