🔗 It could take years to rehab abandoned Hampton Inn on Rt. 72
The former Hampton Inn just past the Lebanon County line in Rapho Township, abandoned about 18 months ago, is headed to Lancaster County’s Redevelopment Authority to be designated a blighted property. That’s the first step in what will likely be a years-long journey to reuse the property that was once part of Hammock Worldwide hotel group.

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Michael Rankin, age 36, of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, was sentenced on April 27, 2023, by U.S. District Court Judge Christopher C. Conner to 20 years’ imprisonment for sexually exploiting a child.
